Flow is a new concept for music interaction designed by David Boyce. David has created a music system concept that you can control using gestures alone. The Flow system consists of a number of soft silicone speakers that respond to shakes and movements. Just pick one up and give it a good shake to to get a party going with music to match. Or if your looking for something a little slower for your mood move the speaker is a move relaxed wave motion to trigger relaxing more calming music.

Samsung Wave Now Available To Pre-Order On Vodafone UK

Last week Vodafone announced that they would be selling the first Samsung handset to run their new Bada OS, the Samsung Wave. It looks like the Samsung Wave will be available in the UK on Vodafone from the 1st June 2010.

The Samsung Wave features a 1GHz processor and a 3.3 inch WVGA Super AMOLED touchscreen  with a resolution of 800 x 480, plus a five megapixel camera.

Google Announces WebM Video Format

Google [GOOG] has announced a new video format called WebM. WebM is based on the VP8 video codec that Google acquired when they purchased a company called On2 a while ago.

According to Google the WebM video format is efficient enough to be  played on a range of devices like netbooks and smartphones. WebM is completely open source and licensed royalty free under a BSD style license.

Google Android 3.0 ‘Gingerbread’ Coming Q4 2010?

Most of us are waiting for Google [GOOG] to launch Android 2.2 (Froyo) which is expected to be announced this week, now it seems like there may be a major Android release coming this year.

Euro Droid are reporting that Google are going to release Android 3.o codenamed Gingerbread in quarter four of 2010, and it seems the details were published on the FAQ page for the WebM media project.

Apple Launches International iPad App Store

Apple’s [AAPL] iPad will go on sale in the UK and the rest of the world next Friday the 28th of May 2010, many people in the UK and the rest of the world have imported the iPad from the US, good news today for them as Apple has finally turned on the international iPad App Store.

Up until today if you wanted to get Apps for the iPad outside of the US you had to download them via iTunes and them sync your computer with your iPad to install the applications.

iFixt Teardown Apple’s Latest MacBook

The guys over at iFixit have got their hands on Apple’s latest MacBook which was announced on Tuesday, and have decided to take their screwdrivers to it to see what is inside.

Not many surprises apart from the new battery which has a usage time of up to ten hours, it turns out that the battery is the exact same size and shape as the previous MacBook and it is also compatible with the previous MacBook as well.
