Google TV To be Replaced With Android TV

Google has not had as much success with their Google TV platform as they has hoped, and now it looks like Google intends to re-brand Google TV, instead it will be called Android TV.

According to a recent report by GigaOM, has learned that Google will change the name of their TV platform to Android TV, this has yet to be confirmed by Google.

AT&T Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini Leaked In Pink

A new color version of the Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini has been revealed, as you can see from the photo below, this version is pink, and it looks like it will be an exclusive with US mobile carrier AT&T.

Rumor: Google Nexus 5 and Android 4.4 KitKat to Launch on October 15th

It’s literally raining Nexus 5 leaks. We’ve seen so many leaks that points towards the possible launch date of the handset as well as its specifications since it got leaked in the Android 4.4 KitKat promo video last month. Earlier this month, a rumor surfaced mentioning that Google Nexus 5 will see the daylight on October 14th, but it seems that it’s incorrect. A new rumor suggests that Google Nexus 5 and Android 4.4 KitKat will launch on Tuesday, October 15th. It was also disclosed by KitKat Germany on Facebook that it’s going to launch in October.

Full Android Apps Running On The Samsung Galaxy Gear (Video)

The Samsung Galaxy gear is not designed to run full Android apps out of the box, although this has not stopped Ron Amadeo from Ars Technica running full Android apps on the device.

The video below shows a couple of Android apps running on the Samsung Galaxy Gear, plus some music playing and even a video. Ron managed to get the apps running using the ‘USB debug’ feature on the device, he then connected it to his computer.
