A new style of tablet stand called the ARM is currently on the Kickstarter website looking to make the jump from concept to production. The ARM is a much larger tablet stand than most of the desk top designs which are currently available. Asus Transformer TF101 Android ICS Update Problems Fix In The Works

A couple of weeks ago Asus released the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich update for their original Transformer TF101 Android tablet, since the update was release a number of users have reported problems with their devices.

The problems encountered by owners of the Transformer TF101 tablet since they upgraded to ICS have included random reboots, and device lock ups, plus a number of other bugs, Asus has now announced that they are working on a fix for the issues.

Lego Space Shuttle Gets Launched Into Space (Video)

Raul Oiada, a Romanian physicist and an Australian entrepreneur Steve Sammartino decided to launch a Lego Space Shuttle into space and capture the whole thing on video.

They sent the Lego Space Shuttle into space on 1,600g meteo balloon which was filled with helium and they capture the space shuttles flight using a GoPro Hero camera and tracked it using a Spot GPS, have a look at the video of it in action below.

Nokia Lumia 800 Battery Update Starts Rolling Out

Last week we heard that Nokia would be rolling out a new firmware update to their Nokia Lumia 800 Windows Phone smartphone, the update is reported to come with some additional fixes for battery problems as well as some other bug fixes.

Nintendo Sells 4.5 Million 3DS Consoles In US In 12 Months

Nintendo has today released some sales figures for its new 3DS console in the US, and according to the release Nintendo has sold a total of 4.5 million 3DS consoles in the first year since the device was released.

Nintendo has said that this is almost double the 2.3 million first year sales for the Nintendo DS console, so we guess that the 3DS has been a success for Nintendo.

Next Generation Haptic Feedback Game Controller Concept (video)

Engineers at the University of Utah have developed a concept next generation game controller that not only vibrates but also pulls at the thumb controllers to simulate the recoil of a gun or the pull on a fishing line, for example.

The concept controller is fitted with tractors which are located underneath each thumbs and are used for controlling a characters movements, juts like a traditional controllers.

Acer V5 Nvidia Geforce Graphics Laptop Unveiled (video)

As well as launching their new V3 laptop today Acer have also unveiled their new Acer V5 which can be equipped with Nvidia GeForce Graphics if preferred.

The new Acer V5 is ultra lightweight and thin, measuring just 0.59 inches at its thinnest part. The Acer V5 is equipped with a 11.6 inch screen and weighs less that 3lbs.

16GB Samsung Galaxy Nexus Lands On Verizon 5th April

The Galaxy nexus on Verizon currently comes with 32GB of built in storage, and we heard a while back that they would also be releasing a 16GB version.

According to the guys from Droid Life, the 16GB Samsung Galaxy Nexus will be available on Verizon Wireless in the US from the 5th of April, although we don’t as yet have any details on pricing.
