Motorola Droid RAZR Goes Up For Pre-Order For $299.99

Motorola’s latest smartphone the Droid RAZR will be available to pre-order from Verizon Wireless later today for $299.99 when you sign up to a new two year contract with Verizon.

The Motorola Droid Razr features a Super AMOLED qHD display with a resolution of 540 x 960 pixels, processing is provided by a dual core 1.2GHz processor and there is also an 8 megapixel camera which can record full HD video in 1080p.

Samsung’s Attempt To Ban iPhone 4S In Italy Denied By Judge

Samsung and Apple are involved in more than twenty different lawsuits around the world, Apple managed to get the Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 banned in Australia, and Samsung has been trying to get Apple’s new iPhone 4S banned in a number of countries.

One of those countries is Italy, and an Italian judge has denied Samsung’s initial request to have the iPhone 4S banned in Italy, and has scheduled a new hearing for the 16th of December where both Apple and Samsung will have to submit evidence to the court.

Nokia Shows Off Flexible Smartphone Prototype (Video)

Yesterday we got to see the first Windows Phone smartphones from Nokia, the Nokia Lumia 800 and the Nokia Lumia 710, but not it would appear that Nokia has been showing off something much for interesting at Nokia World 2011, a Flexible smartphone prototype.

The guys from Cnet spotted the flexible smartphone prototype at Nokia World, and you can see it in action in the video below, and Nokia calls it the Nokia Kinetic Device.

Amazon’s Book Depository Purchase Given The Official Green Light

Today Amazon has been given the all clear by the UK’s Office of Fair Trading (OFT) to purchase The Book Depository. The  four-month-long investigation by OFT into the merger of Amazon and The Book Depository said it would not lead to a lessening of competition within the UK book industry.

Over recent years The Book Depository  had become a popular alternative to Amazon in the UK, stocking 6 million titles and selling many of those through Amazon’s Marketplace.

As of next week if you have the Batman: Arkham City game you will be able to enjoying playing as Dick Grayson a.k.a Nightwing in the new pack which will be launched on November 1st.
