Sony Xperia ZR Headed To Hong Kong In July

Earlier in the week Sony announced that the Sony Xperia ZR would launch in Russia before the end of June, and now it would appear that the device will launch in Hong Kong in early July.

Sony are now taking pre-orders for the Sony Xperia ZR on their website in Hong Kong, the handset will retail for HK$ 4,698, which works out at around $606 US dollars at the current exchange rate.

Samsung has officially announced their new Android powered camera, the Samsung Galaxy NX camera which is an interchangeable lens camera with 3G and 4G LTE connectivity plus WiFi.

Sony Xperia Z Android 4.2.2 Update Headed To Telstra In July

Earlier in the week we saw a video of the Sony Xperia Z Android 4.2.2 update, and now it would appear that we have some details on when the update will be available with Australian carrier Telstra.

Telstra has now listed some information on its website for the Sony Xperia Z Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean update with a date of the 15th of July. Apparently Telstra are running a customized version of Android on the handset, which could mean that Sony will release the update to other devices before this date.

AT&T NEC Terrain Rugged Android Handset Announced

AT&T and NEC have announced a new rugged Android smartphone, the AT&T Terrain which will launch on AT&T today the 21st of June. The handset will be available for $99 when you sign up to a new two year contract with AT&T.
