Apple are holding their iPad press event today, and the company is expected to announce their new iPad Air 2 and iPad Mini 3 tablet.
Now it would appear that Apple has accidentally leaked the new iPad Mini 3 and iPad Air 2, as the screenshot below appeared in Apple’s iOS 8.1 iPad users guide in iBooks, the devices were spotted my Mark Gurman from 9 to 5 Mac.
The photo above confirms a number of things we have heard about Apple’s new iPads, both devices will feature a similar design to the existing models.
As you can see from the screenshot both the new iPad Air 2 and iPad Mini 3 will come with a fingerprint sensor and Apple’s TouchID, this is a rumor we have heard over the last few weeks.
The new iPads will also come with improved cameras, and the iPad Air 2 will get the Burst Mode for taking photos that was introduced with the iPhone 5S.
Apple are also said to introduce a new processor with their new iPads, the Apple A8X, which we previously heard would launch with the iPad Pro, although recent rumors have suggested it will launch in the iPad Air 2 and iPad Mini 3.
We will have full details on the new iPads later today, along with details on Apple’s other new devices, which are rumored to include a new Apple TV, Retina iMac and a new Mac Mini, plus information on the release date of OS X Yosemite.
