Apple released the highly anticipated iPad Mini with Retina few days back. The tablet’s supply is rumored to be constrained and it was even mentioned by Apple CEO Tim Cook who said that “it’s not clear if we’ll have enough” stock of the iPad Mini at launch. But, as of now, the stock seems to be stable as the online Apple Store currently shows a shipment dates of 1-3 days for the 16/32GB iPad Mini WiFi model while all the remaining versions show a shipment date of five to ten business days.
Those customers who want the tablet early can check the personal pickup option, but all stores don’t enough stock for personal pickup so you have to take a look at Apple’s website or use this unofficial , allowing you to find out stores near you with iPad Mini with Retina, iPhone 5S or iPad Air in stock.
All you need to do is select the device you’re looking for and enter your zip code. It will list Apple retail stores near you who have the stock of the selected iDevice. Later, you can just place an order online and use the personal pickup option to reserve your unit. The website also shows an availability grid for the iPad Mini, showing that the tablet is out of stock in most retail locations and is not available for personal pickup, especially the cellular models. The WiFi models can be found readily available for personal pickup.
The application is quite similar to the one we shared a few weeks back. The web tool was shut down by Apple and it seems this one might see the same face as Apple Tracker. Although we’re not sure about the tracking methods used by this tool, but it does look similar to Apple Tracker.
Apple has now released a new iPhone SE to replace the iPhone 5S, have a look at out guide on the iPhone 5S vs iPhone SE.
