We know when the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 will be made official. Samsung are holding a press conference on the 23rd of August. The release date for the new Galaxy Note 8 could be some time in early September.
As yet we do not have any official details on the exact release date for the Samsung Galaxy Note 8. Although we can estimate when the handset will be available, based on when Samsung makes it official.
Samsung will announced the Galaxy Note 8 on the 23rd of August, the company could put the handset up for pre-order on Friday the 25th of August and then start selling the handset a week later on the 1st of September.
We have heard various rumors about the specifications on the new Note 8. The handset will come with either a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor or a Samsung Exynos processor. These processors will vary by market. The device is also rumored to come with 6GB of RAM and a choice of 64GB, 128GB or 256GB storage.
Other rumored specifications on the new Note 8 include a 6.3 inch infinity display with a Quad HD resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels. The handset is rumored to come with high end cameras on the front and back.
On the back of the handset there will be dual cameras. One of these cameras will come with 12 megapixels and a telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom. The other camera will come with 13 megapixels and a wide angle lens.
The handset is expected to launch with Android Nougat and then get updated to Android O shortly after it is released. We are not expecting the Note 8 to ship with Android O as this is expected to launch some time in August with the new Google Pixel handsets.
We suspect that the release date for the Galaxy Note 8 will be the 1st of September, this date has yet to be confirmed. As soon as we get some details about the official launch date of the handset, we will let you guys know.
