We previously heard that the new Samsung Galaxy Note 8 will come with dual rear cameras. Now we have some more details about the cameras on the handset.
Rumors have suggested that the Galaxy Note 8 will come with one 13 megapixel camera and one 12 megapixel camera.
According to a recent report from KGI Securities Analyst Ming Chi Guo, the telephoto lens on the Galaxy Note 8 will feature 3x optical zoom. The two cameras on the handset are said to be a 12 megapixel telephoto camera and a 13 megapixel wide angle camera. Both cameras are expected to feature optical image stabilization.
We have heard various rumors about the other specifications on the Galaxy Note 8. The handset is rumored to feature a 6.3 inch display that will have a QHD resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels. The Note 8 will have different processors depending on the market.
One of the processors on the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 will be the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835, the other processor will the a Samsung Exynos processor. The handset will apparently come with 6GB of RAM and a choice of storage which includes 64GB, 128GB and 256GB.
Samsung will launch a new S Pen with their Galaxy Note 8 and the device will come with an IP68 rating for dust and waterproofing. Samsung are holding a press event on the 23rd of August 2017 where they will make the Note 8 official.
