We previously heard a rumor that the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 would be announced on the 23rd of August. Then we heard another rumor that suggested it would launch a week later. Samsung has now confirmed it will be announced on the 23rd of August.
Samsung has sent out invites to their Samsung Unpacked event which will take place om the 23rd of August 2017. This is when the company will make their new Galaxy Note 8 official, you can see the invite below.
The Galaxy Note 8 is rumored to be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor in some markets. The handset will also be powered by a Samsung Exynos processor in other markets. It is expected to come with 6GB of RAM.
The handset is rumored to come with a 6.3 inch display with a Quad HD resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels and the device will come with high end cameras. On the front of the handset there will be an 8 megapixel camera for Selfies. On the back of the device there will be two 12 megapixel cameras for photos an videos.
The new Galaxy Note 8 is expected to come with a choice of 64GB or 128GB of storage. The handset is a very important device for Samsung, it popularity could determine what happens to their Note range after the recall of last years Note 7.
