It looks like we finally have some details on when the new Samsung Galaxy Note 8 will be made official, rumors have suggested August and now according to a new report the handset will be announced on the 23rd of August 2017.
The news comes in a report from The Investor who have said that Samsung is looking to launch the handset before IFA 2017.
IFA 2017 takes place between the 1st and 6th of September and previous rumors have suggested that Samsung would announce the handset before IFA. Samsung are also looking to get the jump on Apple and release their Galaxy Note 8 before the iPhone 8 which is rumored for A September launch.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 8 is an important handset for Samsung as the company had issues with their Galaxy Note 7 last year and the device had to be recalled.
The new Note 8 is rumored tom come with a 6.3 inch Super AMOLED display with a QHD resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels and it will be powered by either a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor or a Samsung Exynos 8995 processor.
The handset will come with dual 12 megapixel cameras on the back and it will be available with a choice of 64GB or 128GB it is also expected to come with 6GB of RAM.
If Samsung do announce the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 on the 23rd of August then we would expect the handset to go on sale at either the end of August or early September.
