Apple announced the new iPad Air and iPad Mini with Retina display recently, both devices come with Apple’s new A7 64-bit processor, and Apple’s M7 motion processor.
When these new iPads were announced, one thing that was left out of the specifications, is how much RAM, the new iPad Air and new iPad Mini would come with.
The iPhone 5S comes with 1GB of RAM and also uses the Apple A7 processor, and now it looks like the iPad Mini with Retina display and iPad Air will also come with 1GB of RAM, as yet this has not been officially confirmed by Apple.
The iPad Air features a 9.7 inch Retina display with a resolution of 2048 x 1536 pixels, the tablet also comes with a new slimmer design and it weighs less than the previous version at just one pound.
The iPad Air is available in both WiFi and cellular versions, with prices starting at $499, it comes with a range of storage options which include 16GB, 32GB, 64GB and 128GB.
The iPad Mini with Retina display features a 7.9 inch display that has a resolution of 2048 x 1536 pixels, it also comes with a 1.2 megapixel FaceTime HD camera and a 5 megapixel Apple iSight camera.
Prices on the new iPad Mini start at $399, it will also be available in a range of storage options from 16GB to 128GB, and comes in WiFi and Cellular models.
The iPad Air will launch next Friday the 1st of November, and the iPad Mini with Retina display will launch later in November, Apple have not given the exact release date as yet.
