MSI Launches GX660 And GX660R Noetbooks In US

Some of our readers will remember the new GX660 and GX660R notebooks from MSI that we featured on Geeky Gadgets a while back, good news as MSI has just launched both models in the US.

As a recap the MSI GX660R features an Intel Core i7 processor, up to 12GB of DDR3 RAM, and a ATI Mobility RadeonHD 5870 graphics card with 1GB of RAM.

PlayStation Move Launching In The US This Sunday

Earlier today the PlayStation Move went on sale in the UK, and it two days time it will go on sale in retail stores in the US on Sunday the 19th of September.

It seems that some customers who have already pre-ordered the PlayStation Move in the US will be able to pick it up from today, and September the 19th is when it will actually go on sale to everyone in retail stores.

The Calculator By Alex Hume

Designer Alex Hulme has come up with a cool design for a the standard calculator, which he will be showing off in London next week. The calculator features two programmable LCD buttons that are used for storing numbers.

Seems like a good idea, when you click on the left of a button you can allocate a value to it and then you tap on the right side of it to use it as a sum, you can also scroll back and edit calculations.

No CDMA Windows Phone 7 Smartphones Until Next Year

Earlier today we told that Verizon had said that they wouldn’t be selling any Windows Phone 7 smartphones until 2011, which we thought was down to Verizon who were concentrating on Android devices for the rest of the year.

It seems the reason that there will be no Verizon Windows Phone 7 smartphones this year is down to Microsoft, as Greg Sullivan, Microsoft’s Senior product manager recently told Cnet that there will not be any CDMA Windows Phone 7 handsets launching until 2011.

We have featured a couple of tablets from Viewsonic before here ate Geeky Gadgets, the latest one is the Viewsonic G-Tablet. The Viewsonic G-Tablet features a 10.1 inch capacitive touchscreen display with a resolution of 1024 x 600.

Processing comes in the form of a NVIVIDA Tegra 2 processor, and it also features a 1.3 megpixel front facing camera, 1GB of RAM and 16GB of built in storage.
