Earlier we heard about a display issue on the new iPhone X that appears to be affecting a small number of owners. Now there are reports of another issue with Apple’s new flagship, the latest issue is related to sound on the handset.
Some owners of Apple’s new iPhone have reported problems with sound on the handset from the front facing earpiece, this appears to be happening at maximum or high volumes on the device. A number of people have reported hearing crackling or buzzing sounds on the handset.
The crackling or buzzing sounds appear to happen on any type of audio being played through the device when at high volume, this does not appear to be affecting all owners of the handset though. Google had a similar issue with their Pixel 2 smartphone, they are apparently fixing it with a software update.
As we heard with the issues on the display on the iPhone X earlier, Apple has been replacing those handset, we suspect they will either do the same with the sound issues or will release a software update to fix the problem. As yet there is no official response from Apple on these cracking and buzzing sounds on their new iPhone. If you have experienced this problem on your handset, please leave a comment below and let us know.
