Samsung announced the new Samsung Galaxy S5 Mini this week, the company said that it would be launching in July, and now we have some more details on when it will be available in the UK.
According to one of our contacts, the Samsung Galaxy S5 Mini will go up for pre-order next week, as yet we do not have an exact launch date on the handset, all we know is that it is expected to hit the retail stores around the middle of July.
The new smaller Galaxy S5 Mini comes with Android 4.4 KitKat, and the device features a 4.5 inch HD Super AMOLED display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels.
Other specifications on the new Samsung Galaxy S5 Mini include 1.5GB of RAM and 16GB of built in storage, the handset is powered by a quad core 1.4GHz processor and it also comes with a microSD card slot for expansion.
The S5 Mini has a front facing 2.1 megapixel camera and a rear facing 8 megapixel camera with an LED flash and auto-focus, both cameras are capable of full HD video in 1080p.
As yet we do not have any details on how much the new Galaxy S5 Mini will retail for when it launches in the UK, we should have some more details next week.
