Iconic games console manufacturer and games creator Atari has this week teased a new Atari controller via the Ataribox Facebook page. This teaser provides a quick glimpse at what we can expect from the Ataribox Joystick, which is currently under development and should be launching very soon alongside the new Atari console. Unfortunately, only a few images have been released at the moment, and no specifications have been divulged by Atari at present for their new controller. However, as soon as any more information comes to light, we will keep you up-to-date as always.

As you can see from the images above and below, the latest Atari controller is reminiscent of the original Atari 2600’s controller. It sports a square design with a single red button in the corner, although this controller uses Bluetooth connectivity to remove the need for any cable connection.
