The last thing we heard about the new LG G3 Prime, was that the handset would launch in South Korea as the LG G3 Cat 6, and now it looks like we have a possible release date for the handset.
According to recent report, the LG G3 Prime will launch in South Korea this Friday the 25th of July, the handset is said to come with LTE-Advanced which will support download speeds of up to 225Mbps.
LG will launch the LG G3 Prime in South Korea at the LG G3 Cat 6, the handset is also rumored to launch internationally, although it is not clear as yet on when it will be available.
The LG G3 Prime is said to come with a 5.5 inch QHD display with a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels, the device will get a faster processor than the current G3, in the form of the new Snapdragon 805, which is a quad core processor that will have a clock speed of 2.5GHz, it will also feature an Adreno 420 GPU.
Other specifications on the new G3 Prime will include 3GB of RAM and 32GB of included storage, the handset will also come with a microSD card slot for extra storage.
The new updated version of the LG G3 will also come with a 13 megapixel rear camera and a 2.1 megapixel front facing camera, plus Android 4.4 KitKat.
