iOS 12 Beta 3 vs iOS 11.4 Speed Test

Apple recently released their third beta of iOS 12 and now we have some iOS 12 Beta 3 vs iOS 11.4 speed test videos.

In the iOS 12 Beta 3 vs iOS 11.4 speed test videos we get to see a number of Apple devices running the new beta of iOS 12 along with the current release. First up is the iPhone 5S.

As we can see from the video the iPhone 5s running the iOS 11.4 software booted up faster than the device with the new beta. The new beta does appears to be slightly faster with some of the apps. Next we have the iPhone 6.

With the iPhone 6 the handset running the iOS 12 beta 3 actually booted up quicker than the device with the current iOS release. The new beta looks faster on some of the apps, next is the iPhone 6S.

In the video with the iPhone 6S, the handset running the current iOS 11.4 software booted up faster, the new beta does seem slightly faster in some of the apps, next we have the iPhone 7.

As we can see from the video the handset running the iOS 11.4 software booted up slightly faster, the two devices seem about the same speed in the apps, finally we have the iPhone 8.

In the iPhone 8 video the device running the current iOS release booted up quicker, there do not appear to be any major speed improvements in the new beta. The focus of iOS 12 is to bring performance and speed improvements to all devices and older devices, we are expecting to see a number of improvements by the time the final version lands.
