The 6.1 Inch iPhone X is expected to cost less than the current model. Apple’s iPhone X costs $1,000 and the company us expected to launch three new high end iPhones later this year. Two of these iPhones will have an OLED display, so we can expect them to have similar pricing to the existing device.
The 6.1 inch iPhone X will come with an LCD display the handset will have similar specifications to the new OLED iPhones in terms of processor etc, although it looks like it will miss some of the features of the more expensive models.
According to a recent report by KGI Securities analyst Ming Chi Kuo, this new LCD iPhone will have a single lens rear camera and will come with an aluminum frame. The handset will apparently not come with 3D touch, the device will however come with Apple’s FaceID.
Apple has apparently had to make some design compromises to reach the $700 to $800 price point on this LCD iPhone X. The other two iPhone X handsets are said to come with a 5.8 inch OLED display and a 6.5 inch OLED display.
These two devices will be more expensive and prices for the handsets are likely to start at $999 like the existing iPhone at the moment. Apple are expected to launch all three of these new iPhones in September or October of 2018.
