Apple has yet to announce any official details about how many units of their iPhone X they have sold. The company did previously reveal that the handset was their most popular iPhone launch ever. The device is also said to be Apple’s most popular product ever.
According to a recent report, Apple apparently sold 29 million iPhone X smartphones in the fourth quarter of 2017. These figures have not been official confirmed by Apple. The figures comes in a report from Canalys.
According to the report from Canalys, out of the 29 million iPhone X handsets that were shipped in 2017, 7 million of shipped in China. It would appear that other models of the iPhone including the iPhone 8, iPhone 7, iPhone 6S and iPhone SE were also popular in the fourth quarter of 2017.
Apple’s iPhone X is the company’s most expensive iPhone to date, this has not put people off the handset. according to the report, people who were upgrading from older iPhones were trading in their handsets against the cost of the new iPhone to offset the higher purchase cost.
We heard recently that Apple is expected to launch three new iPhones later this year, one with a 5.8 inch OLED display, another with a 6.5 inch OLED display and a third model which will be cheaper with a 61. inch LCD display.
