Last week we saw some evidence of a WiFi only version of the Sony Xperia Z Ultra, and now the device has been spotted on Sony’s website, along with another version of the handset.

The Sony Xperia Z Ultra WiFi only model will come with the model number SGO412, this is expected to be the international version of the handset, another model number, SOL24 has also turned up, this is expected to be released by KDDI in Japan.

AT&T Taking Pre-Orders for the LG G Flex for $299.99

Not too long ago, LG announced its curved display smartphone will hit the U.S. shores on AT&T, Sprint and T-Mobile, which didn’t take too long. Last week, Sprint started taking the pre-orders of the device for $299.99 with a two-year contract, while T-Mobile opened its pre-registration page for the handset.

Recently, AT&T announced it has started taking pre-orders for the device for the same $299.99 price tied to a two-year contract with the carrier. Customers interested in the handset can also buy the handset on the AT&T Next plan, that costs $26.74 per month with AT&T Next 18 or  $34.75 per month with AT&T Next 12.

Sony Sirius D6503 Specifications Allegedly Confirmed

Over the weekend, we saw some leaked images of the Sony Sirius with model number D6503, also rumored to be the upcoming Sony Xperia Z2. The leaked images showed us the possible design of the alleged handset, which looks quite similar to the Xperia Z1.

Recently, some specifications of the alleged Sony Sirius have been confirmed, thanks to the folks at XDA-Developers forums. Based on this new rumor, the handset rocks a 5.2-inch display sporting a resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. Although the hardware information shows the screensize to be 4.86-inch, but that’s without the on-screen buttons.

SK Telecom To Launch 300Mbps LTE Network

Korean mobile carrier SK Telecom has announced that they will be launching an ultra fast LTE network this year, and the network will come with download speed of up to a massive 300 Mbps.

The new 300 Mbps LTE will use LTE-A or LTE Advanced which aggregates 3 bands, 20MHZ+10MHz+10MHz, and this will give speeds of up to 300Mbps.

Meizu to Announce Expansion Plans for Europe Next Month at MWC

Meizu already shared its plans to move into the US smartphone market at the Consumers Electronics Show earlier this month, and mentioned it will launch its smartphones in the US market in the third quarter, later this year.

Additionally, the Chinese OEM seems to be targeting Europe as well, and plans to share its expansion plans next month at the Mobile World Congress, along with the countries where it will hit retail.
