Microsoft has this week released a new update for its next-generation Xbox One games console which has brought with it a number of new fixes, tweaks and enhancements for Xbox One owners to enjoy.
The latest Xbox One system firmware update includes a fix to address the issues that some Xbox One owners were experiencing when trying to record Game DVR clips without audio.
Microsoft has also included underlying operating system changes that are required to enable planned ‘1405 features’ as well as changing how the system update button now works under settings > system, making it much easier to see whether an update is available or not.
Now when there is no Xbox One update available the button is greyed out and states “No update available”. The latest Xbox One update also addresses issues that some gamers have noticed where the consoles Party Chat feature would be quiet unless the Party App is snapped.
At the current time no information has been released by Microsoft with regards the planned 1405 features that are expected to roll out in the future to the Xbox One console. However the reference code seems to indicate that they will be released later this month. As soon as any more information is made available from Microsoft regards the Xbox One 1405 update we will keep you informed.
