Sony recently launched their second generation wearable gadget, the Sony SmartWatch 2, and now owners of this new smart watch are reporting problems with the display on the device.
Some owners of the device have reported that their display on the SmartWatch 2 has separated from the casing, this can bee seen in the photo below.
The Sony SmartWatch 2 features a 1.6 inch touchscreen display that features a resolution of 220 x 176 pixels, the device is designed to be both dust and waterproof and conforms to the IP57 standard.
The watch is designed to work with Sony’s Xperia range of devices and connects to your handset via NFC, it recently launched in the US and retails for $199.99.
The problem only seems to be affecting a small number of the SmartWatch 2, if you have had the issue it may be worth contact Sony to get your device replaced.
As yet there does not seem to be any sort of official statement from Sony on the problem, as soon as we get some more information we will let you guys know.
