We have already seen a spy shot of the Sony Ericsson PSP Phone, from the guys over at Engadget, and we know that it will run a version of Google’s Android OS, possibly Gingerbread which we are expecting to be announced on the 6th of December.
It will be interesting to see what the Sony PSP Phone is actually like, Sony has a good track record with gaming, and whether they will be able to translate this into a smartphone remains to be seen.
Apple is currently dominating the mobile gaming marketplace with the iPhone and iPod Touch, one of the mains reasons for this is that games titles are relatively inexpensive when compared to titles on handheld games consoles, if Sony wants to the PSP Phone to be a success then the games need to be priced accordingly.
