If you didn’t make it into the currently underway Sea of Thieves closed beta development stage, or would like to know more about what you can expect when the highly anticipated pirate adventure officially launches on the Xbox and Windows PC platforms next month on March 20th, 2018. You are sure to enjoy this 50 minute gameplay video, created by the team over at Eurogamer providing a good look at the gameplay, mechanics and multiplayer roles you will need to take on to skipper your pirate ship across the seas as a crew.
The closed beta gameplay phase this past week has encountered a number of technical issues which are currently being ironed out by developer Rare. Rare has created the game to offer a shared open world pirate adventure, filled with danger and discovery, all available to view in true 4K Ultra HD resolutions on the new Xbox One X games console.
While navigating your pirate ship across the waters players will need to assume different roles such as captain and crew to hoist sales, navigate and load cannons. When it finally releases in a few months time Sea of Thieves will offer gamers cross-platform play between Windows and Xbox One consoles.
