We have been hearing about the new Samsung Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9 Plus for months, the handsets are now official and we have all the details on Samsung’s latest flagships.
Samsung announced their new Galaxy S9 and S9 Plus at their Mobile World Congress press conference yesterday, the handsets come with some impressive specifications.
The Galaxy S9 comes with a 5.8 inch display with a QHD+ resolution and and 18:5:9 aspect ratio and 570 pixels per inch.
The handset features either a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 processor or a Samsung Exynos 9810 processor and 4GB of RAM, there is also a choice of 64GB, 128GB or 256GB of storage plus a microSD card slot for expansion.
The Samsung Galaxy S9 features a Super Speed Dual Pixel 12 megapixel camera on the back with AF and OIS on the front of the handset there is an 8 megapixel camera. There is also a 3000 mAh battery, WiFi, Bluetooth and 4G LTE.
The Galaxy S9 Plus has similar specifications, although it comes with 6GB of RAM instead of 4GB. There are also different cameras on the rear. The rear cameras include a dual camera with OIS and one wide angle Super Speed Dual Pixel 12 megapixel sensor and one 12 MP telephone sensor. The handset also has a larger 3500 mAh battery.
The camera is one of the main selling points on the new Galaxy S9 handsets it is designed gor low light photography and also comes with a Super Slow-mo mode. Plus is features Samsung’s new AR Emoji and also integrates Samsung’s Bixby.
Samsung will launch their new Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9 Plus on the 16th of March 2018 and it will come in Midnight Black, Titanium Gray, Coral Blue and Lilac Purple. You can find out more details about the handsets at the link below.
