The Samsung Galaxy Gear smart watch will be made official tomorrow at Samsung’s IFA press event, along with the much anticipated Samsung Galaxy Note 3 smartphone.
Yesterday we saw some photos of the Samsung Galaxy Gear, although these photos are apparently of an earlier prototype of the Galaxy Gear smart watch.
The Samsung Galaxy gear is said to measure around 3 inches diagonally and will apparently feature a 2.5 inch display that will have a resolution of 320 x 320 pixels.
The device is said to be powered by a 1.5GHz Samsung Exynos 4412 processor and will apparently come with 1GB of RAM and will run Android Jelly Bean, probably Android 4.2.2 or Android 4.3.
The Samsung Galaxy Gear will feature a 4 megapixel camera, and will also come with Samsung’s S Voice software, which will allow you to control the device with voice commands.
The Galaxy Gear will apparently connect to your Samsung Galaxy smartphone via Bluetooth, and it is also said to work with other Android devices.
We have already see a screenshot of the Gear Manager app for Android smartphones that will be used in conjunction with your Samsung Galaxy Gear smart watch.
The Samsung Galaxy Gear Smart Watch certainly sounds like a very interesting device, and we are looking forward to seeing what the final design looks like. We will have full details on the Galaxy Gear and also the Samsung Galaxy Note 3 tomorrow.
