Earlier today we heard some details about the new LG V30. LG announced that the handset would come with a 6 inch Plastic OLED display.
Now some press renders of the new LG V30 have been leaked, the photo was posted on Twitter and you can see the tweet about the device below.
Design and Display
The LG V30 is expected to feature a sleek and modern design, with a focus on maximizing screen real estate. The 6 inch Plastic OLED display is a significant upgrade, offering vibrant colors and deep blacks, which are characteristic of OLED technology. This type of display is also known for its flexibility and durability, making it less prone to damage compared to traditional glass displays. The FullVision display is expected to have an 18:9 aspect ratio, providing a more immersive viewing experience, especially for multimedia consumption.
Camera and Hardware
There are not many details about what sort of hardware the new LG V30 will come with, but what we do know is that the handset will come with dual rear cameras. This dual-camera setup is likely to include a standard lens and a wide-angle lens, similar to previous LG models. This combination allows for greater versatility in photography, enabling users to capture both expansive landscapes and detailed close-ups with ease. Additionally, the camera is expected to feature advanced image stabilization and low-light performance, making it a strong contender for mobile photography enthusiasts.
Under the hood, the LG V30 is rumored to be powered by the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon processor, which would provide robust performance and efficiency. Coupled with ample RAM, this should ensure smooth multitasking and a responsive user experience. The device is also expected to come with a substantial battery, possibly with fast charging capabilities, to keep up with the demands of its high-resolution display and powerful internals.
LG will apparently make their new V30 smartphone official at IFA 2017 in September. The handset is rumored to launch in South Korea on the 15th of September. If the rumors are correct, LG will launch the device in the US on the 28th of September.
Software and Features
The LG V30 is expected to run on the latest version of Android, possibly with LG’s custom skin on top. This would bring a host of new features and improvements, including enhanced security, better battery management, and a more intuitive user interface. LG’s software typically includes unique features such as customizable shortcuts, advanced audio settings, and various camera modes to take full advantage of the hardware.
Another anticipated feature is the inclusion of high-quality audio components. LG has a history of focusing on audio quality in its V-series smartphones, and the V30 is expected to continue this trend. This could include a high-fidelity DAC (Digital-to-Analog Converter) for superior sound quality, making it an excellent choice for audiophiles.
Market Position and Competition
The LG V30 will be entering a highly competitive market, going up against flagship devices from other major manufacturers such as Samsung, Apple, and Google. Its success will largely depend on how well it can differentiate itself through unique features and competitive pricing. The inclusion of a Plastic OLED display, dual cameras, and high-quality audio components could give it an edge, but it will need to be priced attractively to lure customers away from other popular options.
The LG V30 is shaping up to be an exciting addition to the smartphone market. With its advanced display technology, versatile camera system, and focus on audio quality, it has the potential to appeal to a wide range of users. As we await its official unveiling at IFA 2017, the leaked renders and rumored specifications have certainly piqued our interest.
