We have been hearing lots of rumors about Apple’s new iPhone SE 2, the last thing we heard was that the device would launch some time in May or June.
Now according to a recent report, if Apple does launch their new iPhone SE 2, the design of the handset will pretty much stay the same as the existing device, the changes will be inside the handset.
The news comes from KGI Securities Analyst Ming Chi Kuo, who has said that Apple would not have time to develop the iPhone SE as well as their three other iPhones. We know that three iPhone X handsets are coming later this year, one with an LCD display and two with OLED displays.
Previous rumors had suggested that the new iPhone SE would come with a glass back and would feature wireless charging, this may not happen if Ming Chi Kuo is correct. According to his report the upgrades to the handset will be inside.
This would include a new processor and more RAM, the handsets would also probably get some upgraded cameras. It is very unlikely that the device will come with Apple’s FaceID. Ming Chi Kuo has a proven track record with Apple’s new devices, so it looks like the design of the new iPhone SE could be exactly the same as the current model.
