Apple has announced its latest iPad, the company is launching a new 9.7 inch iPad that works with the Apple Pencil.
We had thought that the price of the new iPad would be cheaper than the model it replaces, Apple will make it slightly cheaper for schools. The new iPad will cost $329 for retail and $299 for education.
The device is equipped with an 9.6 inch Retina Display that has a resolution of 2048 x 1536 pixels and it is powered by the Apple A10 processor with an embedded M10 coprocessor. It comes with front and rear cameras.
On the front of the tablet there if Apple’s FaceTime HD camera and on the back there is an 8 megapixel camera with a five element lens and an f/2.4 aperture. The tablet comes with a choice of WiFi or WiFi and Cellular.
There are two storage options for the tablet, 32GB of storage which retails for $329 and 128GB of storage for $429. This is for the WiFi only model, prices for the cellular model start at $459. The new iPad comes in a choice of three colors, Silver, Space Gray and Gold.
