Additional Features and Connectivity
Other specifications on the Xoom include an accelerometer, a barometer, a gyroscope, and a compass. These sensors enhance the tablet’s functionality, allowing for more precise navigation and a better user experience in various applications, such as gaming and augmented reality. The inclusion of these sensors sets the Xoom apart from many other tablets on the market at the time.
There will be two versions of the Xoom available: a 3G model which will go on sale first and a 4G LTE model which will launch later in the year. The 4G LTE model promises faster internet speeds and improved connectivity, making it a future-proof option for users who need reliable and fast internet access on the go.
The Xoom also supports Adobe Flash, which was a significant feature at the time, allowing users to view a wider range of web content compared to other tablets that did not support Flash. This feature made the Xoom a more versatile device for browsing the internet and consuming online media.

In terms of storage, the Xoom comes with 32GB of internal storage, which can be expanded via a microSD card slot. This provides ample space for apps, media, and documents, making it a practical choice for users who need a lot of storage.
The Xoom’s design is sleek and modern, with a robust build quality that gives it a premium feel. The 10.1-inch display is large enough for comfortable viewing, whether you’re watching videos, browsing the web, or working on documents. The high resolution ensures that images and text are sharp and clear, enhancing the overall user experience.
Overall, the Motorola Xoom is a feature-rich tablet that offers a lot of value for its price. Its combination of advanced hardware, a versatile operating system, and a range of connectivity options make it a strong contender in the tablet market.
