Microsoft has this week launched a new wireless charger which is available in a variety of different colours and is now available to purchase priced at $59 from the Microsoft Store.
Taking the form of the Nokia DT-903 Smart Wireless Charging Plate the dock also supports Qi compatible smartphones although may be a little flakey with some models by other manufacturers according to reviews.
The wireless charging dock is also fitted with a notification light that will glow when used with Microsoft and Nokia smartphones when incoming messages, and calls are received. Microsoft explains :
“Life is easier with a wireless charger. Just place your compatible phone on the plate to start charging. It holds phones of all sizes, and has a notification light for missed calls, text, and emails. Recharge the charger with the included USB cable, which you can plug into a PC or into the wall with the wall adapter.”
