We heard earlier that Apple would be ditching the lightning port on its high end iPhone 13 in 2021, it looks like Apple will also launch a new iPhone SE 2 Plus in 2021.
We are expecting to see a new iPhone SE 2 in early 2020, the handset is rumored to launch in March of next year and is based on the iPhone 8. The news of a new 2021 larger iPhone SE comes from Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo
Now it looks like Apple is planning a larger version of the handset in 2021, the device will apparently come with either a 5.5 inch display or a 6.1 inch display. The design of the handset will probably be similar to next years iPhone SE, so we can also expect this device to look like the iPhone 8.
Apple will launch the iPhone SE2 Plus in 1H21. We predict that the display size will be 5.5 or 6.1-inch. This model will adopt a full-screen design. The notch area will be smaller because of no Face ID support. The Touch ID will be integrated with the power button, which is located on the side.
Apple obviously have plans to expand their range of more affordable iPhones like the iPhone SE range and offering two different sizes of the handsets should help them reach more customers.
