Apple have just announced a special event on March 17th, which will show off the latest version of the iPhone OS 3.0.
As well as showing of the new iPhone OS 3.0, Apple will be previewing a brand new version of the iPhone SDK, the live event will take place at 10am PST (1pm EST).
Apple are calling the event an ‘advance preview of what we are building’, so I doubt we will get to see the new iPhone OS 3.0 on our iPhones this month.
It will be interesting to see what the new iPhone OS 3.0 looks like, as well as the updated SDK, I wonder if Apple have a new iPhone planned to launch with the new iPhone OS 3.0? maybe the much rumoured iPhone Nano? after all we did see the launch of the iPhone 3G with the updated iPhone 2.0 software.
I guess we will have to wait and see!
