Apple’s iOS 12 software will land later today and now we have some speed test videos of iOS 11.4.1 vs iOS 12.
In the videos below we get to see iOS 11.4.1 vs iOS 12 run on a number of different iOS devices, will there be any speed improvements in the new iOS 12, first up is the iPhone 5S.
As we can see from the video the iPhone 5S running the new iOS 12 software booted up faster than the device with iOS 11.4.1. There also appears to be some speed improvements in the various apps.Next up is the iPhone 6.
With the iPhone 6 the handset running the new iOS 12 booted up slightly faster than the device with the current software, there are also some speed improvements in the apps, next up is the iPhone 6S.
As we can see in the video the iPhone 6S running the new iOS 12 GM booted up faster than the handset with iOS 11.4.1. There are also some speed improvements in some apps, next up is the iPhone 7.
In the final video with the iPhone 7 the handset running the new iOS 12 software booted up faster, there also appears to be some speed improvements in some of the apps. Apple new iOS 12 is designed to bring speed an performance improvements to older Apple devices, the software will be released some time today.
