The new iOS 12 software will be released today and now we have a video showing whether there is improved battery life in the new OS.
In the video below we get to see iOS 11.4.1 and iOS 12 run on the iPhone 5S, iPhone 6, iPhone 6S and iPhone 7, will there be any battery life improvements in the new OS, lets have a look. The software being tested is the final version of iOS 12 that will be released to everyone.
As we can see from the video the battery life appears to be slightly worse on all of the devices that were tested in the new iOS 12 software.
The new version of iOS 12 is designed to bring speed and performance improvements to iOS devices, this could explain why there is slightly less battery life in the devices that were tested. The software should be available later today.
