HTC is expected to launch its first 64-bit handset dubbed as the HTC Desire 820. The Taiwanese OEM has teased the handset a few times in the past.
A new leak reveals some of the specifications of the alleged HTC Desire 820. Previous rumors suggested that the Desire 820 will be powered by a Snapdragon 615 chipset, but it seems that’s not the case. According to the oft-reliable upleaks, the purported HTC Desire 820 will feature a quad-core Snapdragon 410 chipset.
According to the new leaker, the alleged Desire 820 will rock a 5.5-inch HD display, and will come with 1.5GB of RAM on board. Other features include 8GB of internal storage with a microSD card support for expansions as well.
The alleged device is expected to come with a 13MP camera for photos and videos, as well as a 5MP front-facing camera, a 2,600 mAh battery and should come with Android 4.4.4 KitKat with Sense 6 UI on top of it.
There’s no confirmation from HTC about it’s existence, but teasers suggest otherwise. HTC is holding an event on September 4th in Berlin at IFA 2014. The company is expected to launch the alleged Desire 820 at the event. Stay tuned, we’ll update you guys as soon as the handset is officially announced by HTC.
