It has been reported this week that Google is in the process of creating and testing a new user interface design for its Gmail service, if leaked images showing the design are correct.
As we all know Google is always constantly testing and developing new features and designs for its range of services. The new Gmail re-design now includes a new fly-in menu system rather than the older and less efficient tab system for users to enjoy.
As you can see by the images the new Google Gmail user interface is much cleaner and less cluttered than the current design, and includes a new button located in the lower right-hand corner of the screen, enabling users to select menu options such as composing new emails or setting reminders.
Other new features within the new unannounced Gmail user interface design, have renamed the ‘stars’ feature to ‘pins’ as well as the adding the ability for Gmail users to trigger a snooze feature on emails to be reminded of them at a later time or date, just like the feature you find within the Mailbox application.
