EE announced their new EE Kestrel 4G smartphone back in March, the handset is a 4G LTE device which is available on a pay as you go basis for just £99, and it is now available in the UK.
The EE Kestrel is available for £99 without the need to sign up to a lengthy contract, and the device comes with reasonable specifications for the money.
Under the hood of the EE Kestrel we have a quad core 1.2Ghz processor and 1GB of RAM, there i also 8GB of built in storage, and the handset also comes with a microSD card slot for expansion.
The EE Kestrel is equipped with a 4.5 inch qHD display that has a resolution of 960 x 540 pixels, and the device also comes with front and rear facing cameras.
On the front of the Kestrel there is a 1 megapixel camera for video chat, on the back of the handset there is a 5 megapixel camera.
The EE Kestrel is available for £99, when you top up the device with £10 of pay as you go credit, so basically it will cost you a total of £109 up front, you can find out more details over at EE at the link below.
