On the rare occasion that I am allowed to do some cooking in our kitchen, I always manage to set the smoke alarm off, well it looks like I need one of these fun gadgets from designer Beth Fuller, the Smokey The Silencer.
The Smokey The Silencer is a fun little kitchen timer, that has a built in chip that communicates with your smoke alarm.
As soon as your smoke alarm goes off, just press the arm on the Smokey The Silencer and it will shut the smoke alarm up and you can continue cooking and burn the house down.
Unfortunately it is just a concept at the moment, lets hope someone decides to make this, it certainly would make cooking a lot easier.
