Today it has been revealed by EA community manager “EA Stive” via the battle log forums that rentable Battlefield 4 console servers will soon be available for gamers to enjoy via their gaming consoles.
Battlefield 4 servers are currently available for Windows PC versions of the game and enable clans and gaming groups to rent servers with group administrators able to tweak the settings for privacy as well as edit the map and mode rotations running on the server.
The announcement made EA community manager “EA Stive” over on the Battlelog forums read:
“Indeed, it is coming. I’m afraid we don’t have any information on this quite yet, but it is coming soon,”-“Keep your eyes peeled on the Control Room and Battlefield blog, as those are most likely where you’ll see it announced first.”
Administrators of Battlefield 4 servers are also able to choose whether they would like their server Ranked or Unranked. Unranked Battlefield 4 servers are slightly cheaper and do not track players stats unlike the Ranked Battlefield 4 servers.
Unfortunately no information on pricing or worldwide availability has been released as yet by EA, but as soon as information comes to light we will keep you updated as always.
