Details of EA’s new Battlefield 3 Premium service have been leaked in a document which Sony inadvertently let out of the bag. The new yet to be launched Battlefield 3 Premium service is a paid for service for Battlefield 3 players, in the style of the Call of Duty: Elite service, offered by Battlefields competing FPS shooter Call of Duty.
The Sony document has revealed that details of the new Battlefield 3 Premium service will be arriving on June 4th, and and EA representative has also confirmed the date to gaming website Joystiq. Saying: “Looks like the excitement for Battlefield Premium cannot be contained. For details, please visit Battlefield.com on June 4.”
The new Battlefield 3 Premium service is expected to launch alongside the new Battlefield 3 Close Quarters DLC expansion. paid member will be entitled to “access to powerful new features,” such as the “ability to reset stats” and “queue priority into servers”.
The Battlefield 3 Premium service will cost £39.99 or €49.99 when it arrives.
