Motorola Droid 2 R2-D2 Android Gingerbread Update In the Works
Motorola has recently released the Android 2.3 Gingerbread update for the Motorola Droid 2 and the Droid 2 global, and now it looks like a Gingerbread update is in the works for the Star Wars themed Motorola Droid 2 R2-D2 edition.
There are no details as yet on when the Motorola Droid 2 R2-D2 Edition will get the Android 2.3 Gingerbread update, as this has yet to be confirmed by Motorola.

If you have been looking forward to playing the new Assassin Creed: Revelations game and are a member of Sony’s PSN you will be pleased to know that as of tomorrow from 10am PST the beta will open up to all PSN gamers and will run until September 11th, 2011.
The PSN beta version of Assassin’s Creed Revelations Multiplayer features nine characters :The Sentinel, The Vanguard, The Guardian, The Vizier, The Thespian, The Deacon, The Bombardier, The Trickster and The Champion.

Samsung Google Nexus Prime Support Page Appears Online
Yesterday Samsung’s mobile website confirmed that the next Google smartphone will be called the Google Nexus Prime, the device is being made by Samsung for Google and it is called the GT-I9250.
Now more evidence has appeared that leads us to believe that both Samsung an Google will be unveiling the Google Nexus prime shortly, as Samsung has now put up a support page on their website for the GT-I9250.

The other day we heard about a new Android smartphone from Samsung which is headed to Verizon’s 4G LTE network, the Samsung Stratosphere LTE, and now the device has just passed through the FCC which should mean that we will get an official announcement from Samsung and Verizon shortly.
the Samsung Stratosphere features a slide out QWERTY keyboard, and is rumored to come with a 4 inch Super AMOLED display plus a single core 1GHz processor.

Nikon has now updated their website with a new version of their Nikon D3100 DSLR camera now finished in red. So if the thought of having to purchase yet another black DSLR camera or gadget fills you with dread, Nikon have now come to your rescue with this lovely red D3100 to choose from.
Apart from the colour, the specifications for the red D3100 remains the same as the existing black model. With a 14.2MP DX-format CMOS and capable of capturing Full HD 1080p movies at a cinematic 24 frames per second (fps) complete with H.264 compression.

HTC Radar Windows Phone Mango Teaser (Video)
HTC recently announced their first Windows Phone 7 Mano devices, one of those was the new HTC Radar, and the company has now released a new teaser video for the device, which you can see below.
The HTC Radar will come with Windows Phone Mango 7.5 and it features a 3.8 inch multi-touch touchscreen display with a resolution of 480 x 800 pixels, processing is provided by a single core 1GHz processor and it comes with 512MB of RAM and 8GB of storage.
Fifth Generation iPod Touch With 3G Coming Later This Month?
We have been hearing rumors over the last few months that Apple’s fifth generation iPod Touch will come with a 3G connection to make use of Apple’s new iCloud service and also iTunes match.

Sony Unveils 4K Home Projector VPL-VW1000ES Complete With Upscaler
As well as announcing pricing for their new 3D Headset Sony have also this week released details of their new 4K home projector. The Sony VPL-VW1000ES, which has a resolution of 4096 x 2160, four times that of a 1080p projector, and takes top spot as Sony’s flagship home projector.
The VPL-VW1000ES is capable of projecting a 200 inch image and is equipped with 2,000 ANSI lumens providing twice the brightness of Sony’s other 1080p projectors currently on the market.

iPhone 5 To Be Officially Announced 19th Or 26th Of September (Rumor)

Sony has unveiled pricing details about its new HMZ-T1 Personal 3D Viewer headset which is equipped with two OLED panels with a resolution of 1280 x 720 and equipped with full 3D support, allowing you to enjoy both 2D and 3D media.
When worn the Sony HMZ-T1 has been designed to provide the equivalent of a 750-inch screen viewed from 20m away and is equipped with 5.1-channel virtual surround sound. The virtual screen has been designed to be wider than most peoples field of vision to create a more immersive experience explains Sony.
