Xing Technologies based in Los Angeles within the United States has created a new folding electric bike which is equipped with an aesthetic design and narrow frame construction as well as a handy swappable battery that allows for almost an unlimited range. Priced at $650 for early bird backers the Zycle is now available to back via Kickstarter offering over a 50 percent discount off the recommended price of $1,499. Zycle has been designed to provide users with a next-generation folding electric bike designed specifically for the urban commuter offering speeds up to a maximum of 20 mph and a range of up to 40 miles. The unique folding frame makes the bike easy to store and carry and the swappable battery provides a quick way to go that extra mile when required in case you didn’t have time to charge fully before leaving on your journey. Features of the Zycle electric folding bike include a 36 V 250 W motor the ability to either pedal assist or simply use full throttle control to get to your destination as quickly as possible.
