Xiaomi are working on a larger version Redmi 5 smartphones, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 and now we have some more details on the handset. The device will come with a larger display than the existing Redmi 5 smartphones.
The Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 will come with a 5.99 inch display hat is expected to feature a Full HD resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels. .
The handset will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 mobile processor and it will come with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of included storage. Other specifications on the new Redmi Note 5 will include facial recognition, a 4100 mAh battery with Fast Charge, plus front and rear cameras.
On the front of the handset there will be a single camera with an 8 megapixel sensor for Selfies on the back of the device there will be a dual camera setup. One camera will come with a 16 megapixel sensor and the pother with a 5 megapixel sensor.
There will apparently be two different versions of the Redmi Note 5, one with a slower Snapdragon 630 processor and prices will start at CNY 1,499 which is about $238 at the current exchange rate.
