Developers using the Nvidia Jetson TX2 hardware and platform to create artificial intelligent applications, may be interested in a new eco-friendly case called Open.Box, which is now available to purchase priced at $24. The outer casing is available in different combinations as its creator explains below. Early bird pricing starts from $24 and shipping throughout the United States is expected to take place during July 2019. After the Kickstarter campaign comes to an end the expected retail price will be $100. So don’t delay if you would like to benefit from a 75% discount off the retail price while the Kickstarter campaign is in effect.
“Assembling the case is extremely simple. Open.Box case includes screwed-in brass standoffs. You need to attach Jetson TX2 with its screws, to the standoffs and the power module to the TX2’s headers. Rest of the assembly process doesn’t involve any tool. You have to connect the Case’s side panels to the base as shown above and finally interlock with the top. Available in different design combinations , letting you choose to have a case made entirely of wood, acrylic or a combination design of both. Open.Box case comes in 4 designs :”
