At the IFA 2018 consumer Electronics show this week in Berlin, Toshiba has unveiled a new Windows tablet in the form of the Toshiba Portege X30T which will be available to purchase in a couple of months time during October 2018 priced from $1550. Offering a 2-in-1 tablet thanks to its detachable keyboard the system is the first in the range to provide such a feature and is also equipped with a Wacom pen with 4,096 levels of pressure sensitivity.
Offering a 13.3 inch touchscreen display the Toshiba Portégé X30T Windows tablet is powered by an unspecified 8th generation Intel U-series processor and is equipped with a fingerprint reader, face authentication, a Trusted Platform Module, and a Smart Card reader.
Other useful features include the ability for the tablet to charge itself first and then the attached keyboard. The removable keyboard offers additional connections in the form of a full-sized HDMI, VGA, Ethernet, and USB ports together with an additional battery which is capable of powering the Windows tablet for up to 14 hours on a single charge. When the keyboardist attached tablet battery is capable of a satisfactory eight hours of use.
The Windows tablet is also equipped with a VGA connection making the tablet ideal for the enterprise market And sports a magnesium alloy case. For more details and full specifications jump over to the official Toshiba website.
