Apple Pay Cash is coming to Apple’s iPhone and iPad some time soon. The software will be enabled when Apple releases the iOS 11.2 software update. It will allow you to send payments to your friends and family using Apple Pay.
You will be able to send payments from your iPhone, your Apple Watch and you will also be able to use Siri to make mobile Apple Pay Payments. The guys over at MacRumors have put together a great video which shows how the software works and how you can set it up on your device.
Once you have sent a payment to your friends or family using Apple Pay Cash they can then choose from two options. One option is to keep the money in the Apple Pay Wallet and use it for purchases. The other options it to withdraw the money to their band account.
Money can be sent using your debit card, credit card or also an Apple Pay Cash card, the last one is created when someone receives a payment. All money that is received in Apple Pay is stored in one of these cash cards.
As we mentioned earlier Apple will enable this new mobile payments system with the release of iOS 11.2. The second beta of this software was released recently and were are expecting the final release to be some time this month. As soon as we get some details on when the update is coming, we will let you guys know.
