Meizu has scheduled a press event on September 2nd where the company is expected to launch its latest flagship device dubbed as the Meizu MX4.
Recently, the alleged Meizu MX4 was reportedly spotted on AnTuTu, scoring an impressive 52,811 on the test. The score, if true, is the highest among any Chinese smartphone to date, possibly the highest in the global smartphones as well.
Surprisingly, the report suggest that the purported Meizu MX4 (spotted on AnTuTu) is powered by the latest MediaTek MT6595 SoC with big.LITTLE architecture, as well as 4G LTE connectivity on board, with a clock speed of 2.2GHz. The alleged handset is also said to come with a 5-inch display sporting a resolution of 1152 x 1920 pixels. Other rumors features include 20.7 megapixel camera on board, as well Flyme 4.0 on the software side.
The score seen above is for the mid-range model of the device, but it’s not the only variant. Meizu is also expected to launch a “Pro” version of the Meizu MX4, which will come with a Exynos 5 Octa processor, as well as a resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels.
The event is just a few days away, and we’ll find out if Meizu MX4 will be worth the excitement it’s getting at the moment.
