LG G Flex on AT&T has already received the KitKat update last month. If you’re rocking the curved LG G Flex tied to T-Mobile, there’s a piece of good news for you. T-Mobile is rolling out the latest Android 4.4 KitKat update for the LG G Flex.
The update is rolling out over-the-air so users of the device should see the update notification in the next few days, so make sure to keep an eye on the notification center.
It has taken some time for the handset to get the chocolaty taste of the latest Android operating system. For those of you who don’t know, the handset came with Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean as its operating system out of the box, which is pretty outdated considering KitKat is running on 8.5 percent of the developers, as per Android developers blog, which are mostly high-end devices.
The latest Android 4.4 Kitkat comes with restyled status bar icons, improved messaging capabilities, wireless printing support, improved battery performance, and much more.
The update should reach your device in the next few days, so you should not worry. If you can’t wait, you can manually check for the update from the device Settings. Let us know using the comments if you received the update.
