T-Mobile has announced a new upgrade program that will effectively let you upgrade your smartphone every six months if you want, called T-Mobile Jump.
T-Mobile Jump will launch on the 14th of July, and it will cost you $10 a month, with this you will have the ability to upgrade your handset twice a year after you have been in the program for 6 months.
“Customers can upgrade to a new phone, financed through T-Mobile’s Equipment Installment Program (EIP), twice every 12 months after they’ve been in the JUMP! program for six months.”
You will also be able to trade in your old phone, and apparently this will eliminate the outstanding payments on your existing EIP program so you can take out a new smartphone.
